The sun was shining and the park was pretty much ours for the taking. No queues for rides, no queues for food, and plenty of space for Carla to wander around without us having to worry.
Mandy and Carla started the day off with a ride on the Mad Hatter teacups which both of them thoroughly enjoyed.

Next we took a ride on the Mickey Mouse steam train that runs around the park. Carla particularly enjoyed the part where you ride past all of the animals like the goats in the 'grand canyon' bit - she pointed at them and said "dog".
Next we visited Toontown which was brilliant for toddlers. Lots of room for Carla to wander around without us having to worry about what she's touching. She loved walking around on the warm tiles, and is seen here outside the five and dime arcade.
In Toontown we bumped into Goofy who pointed at Carla (which upset her a little) but still stayed to pose for a photo. Despite the perfect opportunity, Carla did not use her favourite word (dog) when she saw him.
Next it was back to Storybook town where Carla and I went on the Alice in Wonderland ride.
She got a little bit scared at the Queen of Hearts who was shouting "chop off their heads" quite loudly, but quickly recovered when she saw the cheshire cat whom she pointed at and said "dog".
Finally, we ended the day with a go on the Dumbo flying elephant ride which Carla really enjoyed. She had a go with Mummy (shown here) and one with me. She screamed (with delight) when she got off it and when we kept saying "did you enjoy the Dumbo ride" back in the hotel tonight she kept giving us a big smile.
All in all, another brilliant day together in America. Carla is now fast asleep, hopefully dreaming of Mickey Mouse and Cheshire Dogs.
Tomorrow is our first long drive as we head off to Vegas.
