So yesterday we drove the 5 hours from Las Vegas to Fresno which was pretty uneventful. Carla was an angel as usual and slept a lot of the way. We saw lots of airports (which I enjoyed), a huge windfarm, some dust storms and even some rain.We could only pickup "Highway Radio" though, which was a country music station. Lots of guitar music and traffic information.
Made it to Fresno and stopped in the Marriott's TowneSuites - the photo above shows the bedroom. Very nice room for a pretty reasonable rate - $149 for a one bed suite. Slept, had breakfast and then set off for San Francisco.
